The property subject to this declaration as a Local Cultural Asset (BCIL) is the Guingueta los Baños Luis, located sheltered by a rocky outcrop between Platjola and Morer beach, on Avenida del Dr. Furest in Sant Pol de Mar, in the Maresme region.
The property's significance stems from its historical, ethnological, and cultural value, which warrants appropriate protection. Los Baños Lluís began as a small hut used by fishermen for shelter and storage of their equipment. It was converted into a sea bathing establishment during the 1930s and later evolved into a restaurant.
