DIAGNOSIS OF THE ''JARDÍ DEL MAR'' COMPLEX IN CALONGE

The community of owners of the "Jardí del Mar" residential complex in Sant Antoni de Calonge (Baix Empordà) commissioned Fortià Arquitectes to provide an opinion on the construction status of the complex.

The residential complex "Jardí del Mar" consists of three multi-family residential buildings that make up an entire block in the Sant Antoni de Calonge development. The community of owners has commissioned an expert report in order to have a diagnosis of the interior pathologies that appear inside the homes. These pathologies manifest themselves in the form of humidity due to condensation between enclosures, humidity in the sills of openings, in the deliveries in floors and in the lintels and jambs of openings.

The report ends with an identification of the external causes of the pathologies as well as the design deficiencies and makes some proposals for their correction.
