The historical complex of Cervià de Ter and its main elements: Monastery, wall and Castle

The objective of the planned actions is to preserve the historical, artistic and cultural values of the BCIN - Historical Complex of Cervià de Ter by acting on three of its essential elements: the Monastery of Santa Maria (11th century), the Torre de les Hores (former tower of the wall) and the Patio d'Armes of the Castle of Cervià de Ter (10th century). The three elements are listed as Cultural Assets of National Interest - Historical Monument.

The intervention in the Monastery includes actions to adapt materials and construction techniques consistent with the historical value of the building and the resolution of urgent pathologies that compromise elements of great value in the complex.

The action on the wall, in the Torre de les Hores, proposes an action to recover the original appearance of the historical element.

The intervention in the space of the Pati d'Armes del Castell proposes a valorization of the historical enclosure linked to the fortress based on its paving and dignification as a unique urban piece.
