After nearly 40 years of rehabilitation, a series of pathologies have necessitated an intervention in the heritage complex of the Monastery of Cervià de Ter, declared a Cultural Heritage of National Interest (BCIN). The City Council has entrusted the Fortià Arquitectes team, with extensive experience in interventions in historical monuments, with the operations on the property. These actions have consisted of repairing some pathologies in the ashlars of the exterior walls and cloister of the Monastery, as well as in a major reform of the interior roofs of the cloister. There has also been occasional intervention in some elements of the roof and the exterior facade.
With these interventions, the aim is to once again highlight the historical and tourist potential of this outstanding monument of Romanesque architecture in the Girona region.
