The Berenguer palace it's located in a plot of land close to the Ter riverside, between the channel of the stream and the path of the Ter that takes to Constantino and Sant Gregori for the ford of the driveway.
The environment of the palace is an irrigated land, with trees and riparian vegetation. Also, there is the Grober factory near the plot , which occupies a wide space close to the river.
Initially, there was a hospital of 1603 according to an esgrafiado of the door under the vault. Later, in the 19th century the mas was extended and reformed by the counts of Berenguer to do his house of summer vacation. Also inside the estate there is a mill, of which they have found documents that allow us to date it in 1299.
The general style of the building, which one finds in poor condition of conservation, is a mansion of French style with a romantic garden and a terrace covered in the wing this one. In the ground floor of the wing the householders were living through this one.
There has appeared the reform of the different buildings as a recovery of the existing volumes but understanding them as containers. In view of the condition of advanced structural degradation of the constructions, we understand that only the exterior volumes are recoverable and that there will be necessary to reconstruct the whole interior space of the different bodies.
