REMODELING OF WALK DE L'ESTARTIT

The port of l'Estartit understands a commercial, sports and fishing managed by the public entity Ports of the Generalitat (North Port Zone). The port has three big zones:

1. A) Zone of fishing fleet, rents, cruises of passage and a diving centre placed in the Central Wharf.
2. B) Zone of the nautical Club, sailing school and parking in administrative concession. Zone of launching and the beach of the port, yielded to the Town hall.
3. C) Association " Navigation The Levantine ", " Popular Navigation " and restaurant in concession, placed in the counter dike or dike of Garbí.

In the visits that we have done in the Port of l'Estartit we have observed the existence of different sectors depending on his uses and his physical configuration. These different areas are:

• Central Wharf. This space reaches the ending of a linear tour for the whole port and gives content to the local fishing fleet, the activities of rent of ships, the cruises of passage and the diving clubs.
• Nautical Club. This sector understands the maritime walk and zone of the Port and Santa Ana Streets.
• Space of the Dock. This sector understands also the technical zone and of launching as well as the final section of the Platja Street.
• Area of Garbí's dike or counter dike. For the side of the port, this is a zone that over time has been placed and used with different civil uses as a zone of popular navigation.
