REVIEW OF THE URBAN MASTER PLAN FOR THE CIRCUIT OF CATALUNYA IN MONTMELÓ (VALLÈS ORIENTAL)

The purpose of the Specific Urban Development Modification (MPDU) for the Barcelona – Catalunya Motor Racing Circuit was to update the plan's proposals in response to new requirements arising from the current economic and social context, and to strengthen the circuit's role as a strategic national facility and an international benchmark: facilitating the management of the defined areas, making urban planning parameters more flexible, and resolving identified incompatibilities between the proposed activities and their surrounding environment.

The MPDU area is located in the comarca of Vallès Oriental, spanning the municipalities of Granollers, Montmeló, and Parets del Vallès.
