This September we have signed an agreement with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili so that the School of Architecture of Reus establishes a collaboration in the work of raising the church of Sant Serni de Baiasca, in Pallars Sobirà.

The work consists of raising the inside of the church and the outside with techniques of mass data capture (Scanner Laser BLK) as well as the georeferencing of the point cloud of the building.

In two work sessions, on 21 and 22 September, Fortià Arquitectes and the URV Foundation carried out the in-situ work in Llavorsí (Pallars Sobirà). In both Sessions, the work of data collection, photographic capture of all the interior and exterior facings was carried out, as well as the comprehensive prospecting of the monument using photogrammetry techniques with the Laser scanner.

These sessions were attended by a team of: Josep Maria Fortià, architect - Xavier Raya, architect - Sergio Coll, URV architect - Josep Maria Puche, URV archaeologist and Xavier Busquets, architecture student. We have had the collaboration of Jordi Fillet, Mayor of Baiasca and Mariona Abelló, architect of the Architectural Heritage Service of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
