FORTIÀ ARQUITECTES PRESENTS PROPOSAL FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE FRENCH SCHOOL IN BARCELONA
The management team of the French School of Barcelona contacted 3 technical teams for the remodeling of the kitchen and dining room on the ground floor of the building.
The building of the French School of Barcelona occupies a prominent corner of the city on the corner of Gran Via and Sicilia Street. It is an elegant neoclassical project with ornaments from the end of the 19th century.
The ground floor is intended for the common areas of the school's students and the wing facing Sicilia Street contains a large kitchen / dining area. The preliminary project of Fortià Arquitectes responds to the will of the School to configure a space of own kitchen for the dining room, of some 250 places. The technical proposal has been prepared jointly with the engineers PEC (Efficient Cooking Solutions), Ginés Guillén and AgroB Solutions, Josep Bellmàs.
In the coming weeks it will be known which is the proposal chosen from the three companies that have submitted a technical response.
