PROJECT OF A POND IN A HISTORICAL PROPERTY IN PERATALLADA
Private clients commission the Fortià Arquitectes studio to design a pond in a space adjacent to the historic wall of the XI XII century.
The existing dwelling had its origin between the 16th and 18th centuries and was to be reformed in 1986. It uses a traditional construction typology of stone-carved walls, both vaulted to the ground floor and whipped beams to the roof.
In the proposal that is presented, they are adapted to the exterior spaces at the level of pavements, slopes and different finishes (lighting, vegetation, installations). In general, it is looking for a comfortable space that is correctly integrated into the historical environment of the estate and that allows to complement the existing historical habitat with an exterior space of sober lines and balances.
