THE UPDATE OF THE ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE INVENTORY OF TERRA ALTA AND RIBERA D'EBRE COMPLETED

The works were commissioned by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia in September 2021 and in total around 800 Architectural Assets have been visited.

 

The editorial team has been led by Josep Maria Fortià, doctor of architecture and is made up of: Xavier Raya and Raimon Bustos, architects, Dolors Codina and Jordi Merino, historians and Arnau Camps and Juan Manuel López, geographers and experts in Information Systems geographic

The architectural elements inventoried are of various types and range from: Traditional historical ensembles, churches and convents, castles and walls and buildings of traditional interest such as houses, oil furnaces, dry stone walls, cisterns, remnants of the battle of the Ebre...

The material delivered to the Department of Culture consists of grids with all the information on each of the elements, photographic reports of all of them and georeferencing of all the buildings and assets inventoried.
