TRINITY CASTLE DRY STONE AND BUNKERS REHABILITATION PROJECT IN ROSES
The City Council of Roses commissions Fortià Arquitectes to carry out the project for the recovery and rehabilitation of the historical and landscape elements around the Castle de la Trinitat.
The project, with a total budget of € 258,000, is part of the Territorial Specialization and Competitiveness Project (PECT) applied to Rose's historical and cultural heritage.
- The object of this contract is in the drafting of a project:
- To recover and rehabilitate the traditional architectural heritage of the margins of dry stone crops and the landscape with vineyards and olive groves located at the foot of the Castle of the Trinity
- Strengthen the defensive architecture of the municipality, recovering the road that connected the two fortifications of the Citadel and the Castle of the Trinity and recover for the public visit the post-war defense bunkers currently existing in the lower part
of the castle
- Influence the perception of the castle and the Rosinc coast with the creation of external paths that make possible a tour of the environment with new views towards the fortification and the coast of the place.
