URBAN IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD OF TORROELLA DE MONTGRÍ
We work side by side with the Torroella de Montgrí City Council and its different Areas in the Old Quarter Urban Improvement Plan.
What should the streets, pavements and parking lots be like? What strategies should be used to make the historic center more dynamic and bring life to it? What type of commerce do you want to encourage?
What materials should be used on the facades, carpentry and roofs? How to recover the techniques and typologies of traditional architecture?
We are addressing these and other questions with the different municipal areas, the Montgrí Museum and other entities in the city in order to advance this Urban Plan that must organize the urban fabric and public spaces of this center of Baix Empordà.
From our team we have the multidisciplinary perspective of architects Pep Fortià and Xavier Busquets, geographer and landscaper Narcís Sastre and historian Rosa Maria Gil.
