VISITS OF THE VILDECANS SPECIAL HERITAGE PLAN
As part of the drafting of the Special Heritage Plan and Property Catalog of Viladecans, visits have been made to the contemporary tourist and industrial heritage of the 20th century.
We have visited elements of the tourist heritage of the 20th century such as the "La Ballena Alegre" campsite, the work of the architect Francesc Mitjans from the mid-60s or the house of Pilar Moragas, the work of the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, a clear example of noucentista style summer house architecture.
It was also possible to visit an important piece of industrial architecture, the Recinte Roca warehouses, a historic factory located on the border between the municipalities of Viladecans and Gavà.
The visits were made in the company of those responsible for monitoring the Plan by the City Council: Antoni Chaves and Francisco Fernández, architects, Manuel Luengo director of the Heritage area and Xavier Calderé municipal archivist.
